Eckerl Named Regional Coach of the Year

Calvert Hall's Lou Eckerl was named the American Baseball Coaches Association Division II, Region 2 Coach of the Year.

The Cards finished the year 26-7 and won their fourth straight MIAA A Conference championship last spring.

Three years ago, Eckerl won national honors for the National High School Baseball Coaches Association Award after the Cards finished the season unbeaten.
