Mount St. Joseph 21, McDonogh 14 (Saturday)

Stephen Spindler's 36-yard interception return for a touchdown capped a 21-point fourth quarter barrage by the Gaels in this MIAA A Conference game. Mount St. Joseph (4-1 overall, 2-0 conference) also got scores from Brandon Kendrick (6-yard pass from Chris Costabile) and Gentry White (1-yard run). McDonogh (2-5, 1-3) scored on touchdowns from Rob Owen (19-yard pass from Rudy Johnson) and Chris Davila (4-yard run), but it wasn't enough.

Severn 21, Boys' Latin 20 (Saturday)

Boys' Latin had a chance to tie the game after Patrick Steele's 13-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, but the Lakers couldn't convert on the extra point in this MIAA B Conference game. Severn (2-5, 1-4) got two touchdowns from Alex Jones (20- and 65-yard passes from Jon Gren), and Gren added a 5-yard scoring run. Boys' Latin (3-3, 2-3) had three touchdown runs from Steele, who had runs of 10 and two yards to go along with the 13-yarder in the fourth quarter.

Archbishop Curley 49, St. Vincent Pallotti 6 (Friday)

Seven different players gave Curley a total of seven touchdowns as the Friars blew out Pallotti in an MIAA B Conference game. Terrence Dandridge (10-yard run), Demonya Womack (6-yard run), Aaron Hatton (5-yard run), Pat Diamond (23-yard run), Eric Franklin (53-yard pass from Mark Venable), Venable (28-yard run) and Jerrell Nunally (45-yard run) all scored for Curley (5-2, 4-1). Pallotti dropped to 2-5 overall and 0-5 in the conference.

Friends 36, Annapolis Area Christian School 28 (Friday)

Kurt Herzog got touchdown runs of 32 and six yards to lead Friends past Annapolis Area Christian School in this MIAA C Conference game. Friends (2-2, 1-1) also had scores from Johnny Magwood (27-yard run), Kelly Dayton (31-yard pass from Green) and Alex Young (10 -yard run). Matt Soldano (23- and 3-yard passes from Chris Chick) and Chick (two 1-yard runs) scored for AACS (1-6, 1-1) in the loss.

Gilman 21, Poly 8 (Friday)

David Emala ran for a 28-yard touchdown while Malik Compton and Woody Williams each had 1-yard scoring runs to lead Gilman (5-1, 2-0 MIAA A Conference) past Poly in a non-conference game.

St. Paul's 37, John Carroll 14 (Friday)

Six touchdowns by Troy Jones -- four runs and two passes -- led St. Paul's past John Carroll in this MIAA B Conference game. Jones' touchdown runs were all for 1 yard to help St. Paul's (4-2, 4-1) roll to the win. He also threw touchdown passes of 12 yards and 25 yards. John Carroll (3-3, 2-2) got two touchdowns from Stephen St. Claire (3-yard run and a 30-yard pass from Malcolm McMillan).
