Boys' Soccer

Severn 3, Saints Peter and Paul 3, 2OT (Thursday)

Double overtime couldn't break a 3-3 tie in this MIAA B Conference game, as Severn moved to 4-2-2 overall and 3-1-2 in the conference, while Saints Peter and Paul dropped to 1-4-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the conference. Blake Raffensberger (two goals), Zach Szczukowski (one goal), John Kaestner (one assist) and Micah Steinmiller (12 saves) led Saints Peter and Paul, while Joe Kotler (two goals), Chase Strom (one goal), Philip Snyder (two assists) and Alex Cramer (nine saves) all helped out Severn's cause.

Friends 1, Park 0 (Thursday)

Marrio Davis scored a first-half goal to lift Friends over Park in an MIAA B Conference game. Tim Hornig made six saves for Friends in the victory. The game moved Friends to 9-0-1 overall and 7-0-1 in the conference. Park dropped to 5-4-1 overall and 5-3-1 in the conference.

Cardinal Gibbons 3, St. Vincent Pallotti 1 (Thursday)

The conference victory improved Gibbons to 4-6-0 overall and 4-4-0 in the MIAA B Conference. Pallotti is still looking for its first victory, falling to 0-10-1 overall and 0-9-0 in conference play.

Boys' Latin 7, Glenelg Country 6 (Thursday)

Boys' Latin got goals from five players in this high-scoring conference affair. The win pushed the Lakers to 4-3-2 overall and 4-2-2 in the MIAA B Conference. Glenelg Country went to 5-4-0 overall and 1-1-0 in conference games. The Dragons got two goals apiece from Michael Gamble and Andrew Trahan. Brian Gibbons and Guneet Sodhi each added one goal.

John Carroll 3, Spalding 0 (Thursday)

Matt Pramuan had two goals for John Carroll, and Brent Mooney added one more in the shutout. The victory improved the Patriots to 6-4-0 overall and 4-4-0 in the MIAA A Conference. Spalding dropped to 0-8-1 overall and in the conference. Chris Panian had two assists for John Carroll.

Calvert Hall 1, St. Paul's 1, 2OT (Thursday)

Two extra sessions couldn't decide a winner as the Cardinals and Crusaders played to a 1-1 tie, with both goals being scored in the first half. Pete Caringi scored for Calvert Hall. Andrew Brown made nine saves in net for the Crusaders, and Nial Krach made five saves for Calvert Hall in the tie.

Loyola 1, Mount St. Joseph 0 (Thursday)

Jimmy Deasel's second-half goal, assisted by Dave Phillips, lifted Loyola over Mount St. Joseph in a MIAA A Conference game. The Dons improved to 2-4-2 overall and in the conference and the Gaels dropped to 6-4-1 overall and 5-3-0 in the conference.

McDonogh 1, Gilman 0 (Thursday)

Alex Grassi scored a second-half goal and Julian Griggs got an assist to lead McDonogh over Gilman in a MIAA A Conference game. Christian Hall made eight saves for the Greyhounds, and Patrick Spearman had four for McDonogh. The Eagles improved to 11-1-0 overall and 9-0 in the conference. Gilman dropped to 6-2-2 overall and 4-2-2 in the conference.

Baltimore Lutheran 3, Indian Creek 0 (Thursday)

The MIAA C Conference victory moved Baltimore Lutheran to 4-3-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the conference. Indian Creek dropped to 3-9-0 overall and 0-5-0 in the conference.

Mount Carmel 2, Towson Catholic 1 (Thursday)

Mount Carmel's Zakk Arciaga and Bobby Sanzone each scored a goal to help pull out the victory over Towson Catholic. Chuckie Wills (one assist) and Mike Krannebitter (three saves) also helped the Cougars (7-4-1 overall, 4-1-0 MIAA C Conference) in the win. The Owls dropped to 4-2-0 overall and 3-2-0 in the conference.

Calvert Hall 2, John Carroll 1 (Tuesday)

Pete Caringi scored one goal for Calvert Hall, and the Cardinals also got an assist from Alex Bullington. John Carroll got a goal from Pat Maher. Nial Krach made four saves for Calvert Hal,l and John Carroll 's Erik Nowicki made nine saves.

Chapelgate Christian 2, Towson Catholic 0 (Tuesday)

Mike Becker and Tyler Leatherwood each scored a goal for Chapelgate, and Sam Orlando added an assist. Steve Handy made five saves to help Chapelgate in the victory.

Boys' Volleyball -- MIAA (Wednesday)

Annapolis Area Christian School def. Mt. Carmel, 21-25, 25-10, 25-21, 25-19

Boys' Latin def. St. Paul's, 2 5-20, 25-15, 21-25, 22-25, 15-12

Loyola def. John Carroll, 25-23, 25-7, 25-17
