Loyola Blakefield Downs Gilman in Water Polo

Loyola Blakefield defeated Gilman in water polo Friday night at Gilman by a score of 18-8. The Dons got the win by playing shut down defense and executing quick breakouts from their defensive zone. Loyola also took advantage of multiple turnovers by Gilman and turned them into points. The Greyhounds put up a fight, but could not seem to find an answer to Tyler Thein, Loyola's two time All-MIAA.

Loyola's next game is Tuesday September 23 when they host Calvert Hall at 5:00pm. Gilman will travel to Mt. St. Joe on Wednesday September 24 as they face off with the Gaels at 4:30pm.
