Calvert Hall Boys, Towson Girls Win

Calvert Hall's boys and the Towson girls won the team championships at the prestigious Barnhart Invitational cross country meet at Dulaney High School.

Mike Glassman of Loch Raven won the boys race in 16 minutes, 27 seconds, beating Zach Sullivan of Archbishop Spalding by five seconds. Chris Day of McDonogh was third, J.R. Spencer of Spalding fourth and Ryan Topita of Spalding fifth.

Chris Swisko paced Calvert Hall's winning team performance for Randy Fowler's Cards by finishing sixth. Nick Rowe was seventh and Ken Motsay ninth.

Stephanie Bryan of Thomas Johnson won the girls race in 19:57 and Rachel Pillion of Towson led coach Gil Stang's Generals with a third-place finish. Emma Fesperman, Molly Thorne and Becky Regan all placed in the top 20.
