The Under-19 United States men's lacrosse team features a half-dozen Baltimore area players and will play Saturday afternoon at Georgetown Prep in Bethesda.
Andrew Feinberg and Tyler Fiorito (McDonogh), Nick Elsmo (Severn), Peter Fallon (Gilman) and Tim Donovan and Steele Stanwick (Loyola Blakefield) are local members of the U.S. team although Stanwick is unable to play because of the broken hand he suffered at the end of the Dons’ high school season.
The game at Georgetown Prep will be the final tuneup before the U.S. team leaves for the July 3 U-19 World Championships in British Columbia, Canada.
Feinberg, who will be a sophomore at Brown this year, scored two goals as the U.S. team opened its exhibition schedule with an 11-9 win over a team of Long Island All-Stars.
