Baltimore Lutheran rebounded from a slow start to come up with a fast finish in the regular season.
The Saints lost their first two games of the season to St. Mary’s and John Carroll but won 17 of their remaining 21 games, posting a 17-6 record, the best in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland C Conference’s X division.
Senior guard Rachael Keshishian scored 36 points in the past two playoff games, leading Baltimore Lutheran with a number of timely baskets. Her fellow senior guard Rachel Lepley was next with 24 points to help the Saints gain some key balance on offense.
Baltimore Lutheran beat the Park School, 45-39, Sunday.

Beth Tfiloh found itself in a situation similar to Baltimore Lutheran’s this season.
The Warriors began the season with two straight losses before winning their way to a playoff berth.
Throughout the entire season, Beth Tfiloh was in a heated battle with Baltimore Lutheran for the No. 1 spot in the C Conference’s X division before the Warriors started losing games that placed the team’s playoff hopes in jeopardy.
However, the Warriors won their last game of the season over Annapolis Area Christian School, 54-52, to lock up a playoff berth. Sara Hervtiz led the team with 17 points in the big victory.
The Warriors won in the first round of the playoffs to Catholic, 41-38, before losing their next playoff game to the Park School, 44-34.

Glenelg Country School struggled during the regular season and the playoffs as the Dragons posted an 8-11 record.
The Dragons started off the season with a 2-2 record with the rest of the season consisting of a mix of both winning and losing streaks.
Glenelg lost in the first round of the playoffs to St. Timothy’s, 56-32.
