Seton Keough has proven to be the team to beat this season, rolling to an impressive 23-2 record.
The Gators came up with another big victory, handing Riverdale Baptist a 58-45 victory Monday night. Riverdale Baptist is ranked eighth in the Washington Post’s weekly poll.
Seton Keough has defeated all of the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference top-ranked teams. The Gators’ resume includes a recent 62-40 victory against St. Frances. Asya Bussie managed 15 points against St. Frances to help her reach the 1,000-point plateau. She has been a force for the Gators all season.
The Gators were on a nine-game winning streak until a 65-47 loss this past Saturday to Notre Dame Prep, and even though the Riverdale Baptist victory meant nothing in the standings, it helped them get back on a roll.

St. Frances has been consistently fighting with Seton Keough for the top seed in the A Conference.
The Panthers are 19-3 and have been near the top of the X Division all season.
St. Frances rebounded nicely after tough losses to Riverdale Baptist and Seton Keough to win six in a row and reassert its dominance in the A Conference.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel has been struggling through a rebuilding season, going 4-18 so far.
The team has not won a game against an IAAM C Conference opponent all season.
Senior Meghan Hartnett has been one of the team’s best players, leading in scoring and rebounds in most of games this year. Junior Stephanie Sokol has also been making a great contribution, twice leading the team in scoring in games.
