IND started off its season with three straight losses to Towson Catholic (81-41), Mercy (73-23) and No. 1-ranked Seton Keough (77-27).

IND’s losing streak continued into the Breezy Bishop Classic and two more Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland games after that until the Indians finally pulled out a 40-39 victory against St. Mary’s.

However, the Indians would lose all of their games in the Milford Mill Holiday Mixer before their offense finally broke loose. IND rolled to a 69-22 victory over St. John’s Catholic Prep. But the Indians followed that with a 79-28 loss to McDonogh.
